I supported the program(s) for aging adults registered with ABSMC Tele-Care Department. This organization is a non-profit for the ABSMC Foundation. At Tele-Care we reach out to seniors daily over the phone to help reduce loneliness, depression, to minimize the reoccurrence of health problems through positive interaction, and to help with cognition and the distribution of resource information.
This program requires that I plan, manage and direct policy and procedures for seniors and with senior volunteers. I motivate, evaluate, train and give professional development assistance during their participation. I initiate any and all technical and administrative problems, find alternate solutions and implement a course of action. I assist in developing goals, objectives and internal control, and make oral presentations of our programs to senior centers and other affiliated programs as needed.
I assisted in the preparation of annual and monthly budget reports, and reports that clarify the advancements this program has made in the increase of recovery for all ailments seniors suffer for the administration of grants for Tele-Care to ABSMC Foundation and other grant programs.
