I am an Indiana University graduate where I received a B.A. in Political Science with a double major in Spanish. I have also achieved certificates after attaining my B.A. from the University of Wisconsin @ Madison in the field of Library Manangement and Studies. In 2010 I recieved three certificates from the University of Notre Dame in the fields of Leadership and management. I taught High School Spanish out of college then worked as a sales consultant in the field of Telecommunications before being appointed to the position of Director of Information Techonology by the Mayor of East Chicago, IN in late 2004. I then was appointed Director of the East Chicago Public Library in November of 2006 where I served until March of 2011. I have held my current position since May of this year, where I actively build new relationships with members of the legal industry in Chicago\'s Loop and maintain existing relationships establised by members of my firm. I am costantly learning the ins and outs of EDD, through the company\'s internal traininging program where we have experts with nationwide notoriety.

In 2008 I was elected to the Indiana University Latino Alumni Association where I served until Jan of 2011. In March of 2009 I was elected Secretary of the Lake County, IN Democratic party where I currently serve until 2013. In 2010, I helped create the Indiana Democratic Latino Caucus and was it\'s inaugural representative to the Indiana Democratic Cenral Committee, for a term of one year.

I am a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 369, Calumet Athlectic Club, and a Stand Up Indiana, P.A.C.
