I am responsible for interviewing and taking client statements, making attendance notes and filing away clients’ case files. Responsible for researching cases, legal information and drafting documents and letters. Responsible for drafting and reviewing leases, deeds, licences and transfers. Act on behalf of the organization in providing replies to lenders and/or leaseholders in property re-mortgage deals, so as to facilitate completion.
Deal with Landlord and Tenant issues effectively and efficiently while ensuring the execution of new leases. Finalize the hand-over process for new build schemes. Attend FTT (Property Chamber) hearings. Make arrangements for managing agents and/or other contractors to manage different aspects of leasehold or shared ownership properties. Ensure the submission of Land Registry applications, completing Stamp Duty registration and conducting Searches. Take overall responsibility for handling my own caseload.
