I am an independent Accounting and Data Management Contractor and over the
past 17 years I have contracted my services to various businesses in the
Ottawa Area. I work remotely from my home office located at 85 Charles
Street in Arnprior and I have lived in the Arnprior area for forty years.

My Company, also works remotely with another company, receiving and
processing client mail. The invoices are forwarded to us from the Utility
Companies, on behalf of each client. The mail is processed from start to
finish using batch processing methods, and by recording the data on spread
sheets or into the preferred Client data base. A t the end of each week
the client will receive an electronic batch report along with scanned
electronic copies of the invoices. The original hard copies of the batch
invoices will be mailed to the client each Monday. The batch report
template format is available upon request, and can be designed to meet the
client needs. The cost to process each invoice from start to finish is
$8.00 each. Additional set-up charges could apply for Report Customization
and Utility Plan set-up.

Bill payment services are available, however only as far as to compute
the payments to be made versus the payments and charges that have already
been processed in Batch Format for each Utility Company. A master
statement is prepared for each utility company that the client is dealing
with. The client then, only has to write one check to each utility company,
each month, as opposed to writing hundreds of checks. The due date has to
be synchronized with the Utility Company in order to avoid late fees.
Additional charges for Bill Payment Services will apply and are negotiable.

My personal Career work includes 40 years of accounting and data management
experience working with small businesses. And our Company Services include
helping new or existing businesses to resolve related accounting and data
base integration problems. My expertise is learned from experience gained
over the years. One of my latest projects includes a subcontract working
with Utility Company Account data, including invoices and
payments associated with various medium to large franchise
operations throughout Canada. Today, Utility Company data is usually
completed by third party vendors both within the Utility Companies and
within the Franchise Operations and this can create many problems with
managing the data in terms of marrying the information for both the Vendor
and the Client. The Printed Invoice information from the Utility Companies
to the Client Franchise, depends on how the data accumulates from the
Utility Company third party data base exports, to the files that are
merged by the printing companies who print the Utility Invoices which are
sent to the Client Franchise, and from which that data is subsequently
extracted by the Franchise and imported into their accounting systems and
their energy and facility maintenance data base programs. Computes Systems
are fantastic to use to record data, however, the success of the program
depends greatly on the ability of each third party to manage the data and
related software so that the final result is accurate. The initial data is
used by various parties to create reports, manage expenses, and make
equipment choices, manage energy, and CCRA tax requirements. If one field
does not accumulate to the correct field on the csv files /other related
files, that are used to import the data into the next program, or link data
to the next program, then all of the reports will be corrupted. Incorrect
amounts will be billed; incorrect payments will be requested and made; and
unnecessary disconnections to services will happen creating additional
reconnect charges and related costs to each client; increased labor costs
and time spent to correct the errors; tax reports will also be affected.
It becomes a domino effect. There is no education in this field better
than having worked in the trenches. We have the experience.
