> Since re-joining as Finance Manager responsible for development of
New Financial Manual for the National Society with Ernst & Young
Consultant team and Spanish Red Cross Delegation. Close
coordination with the consultants developing control mechanism and
new reporting formats.


> Responsible for Preparation of 2009 Annual Budget leading the
Budget Committee with the introduction of activity based budget
concept.


> Management/ SLRCS Governors coordinator for all investigations with
KPMG Fordrohds Investigating team to investigate Tsunami
irregularities at Sri Lanka Red Cross Society - National Head
Quarters and at Six SLRCS Branch offices.


> Officer in charge for payroll program implementation for the 1st
time in the history of Sri Lanka Red Cross Society which is one of
the cost cutting activities planned after appointment as Finance
Manager.


> Special Assignments Completed within six months of appointment.

. Writing up the poverty reduction concept paper for
submission to Ford Foundation USA.

. Developing Financial Development Phase II project
proposal and securing funds from German Red Cross and
Danish Red Cross Societies for implementation from June
2009 to May 2011.

Humanitarian Value Concept Paper and securing required
funding from Donors.

. Analyzing Tsunami Projects balances (US$ 30 Million) and
progress for Management information.
