2005 - 2006
Full time lecturer and taught undergraduate tourism degree and events management degree at Belfast Metropolitan College. Part of curriculum development team for new events degree.

2004 - 2005
Tourism Officer - Blackwater Regional Partnership Natural Resource Tourism Project.
Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council, Northern Ireland. Aim of this project was to turn an area devastated by The Troubles into a sustainable tourism destination through the promotion of the natural environment, activity tourism and building community linkages.

Acting Tourism Development Officer, Limavady Borough Council - six month maternity cover contract March September 2004. Managed Tourism Information Centre and organised innovative events programme and developed new range of promotional tourism literature.

Moved to Northern Ireland from Scotland and completed two property renovation projects.
Responsible for all aspects of project including raising finance, organising workforce and sourcing materials together with marketing refurbished properties
