He promoted and executive produced the \"Celebration of The Life Of Philip Lynott\" concert at the Palace in Los Angeles August 20th, 1996 upon request of Philomena Lynott who also attended, making a personal appearance. His son (born February 23rd, 1996) is named Philip Parris Calkin after Philip Parris Lynott of Thin Lizzy and Philomena Lynott (Phil\'s mum) was christened godmother. He also has a daughter named Belle Calkin born April 20th, 1992. His band Rude Awakening continues to perform worldwide. In January of 2008, he became a full-time member/bassist of Alice In Smack, an Alice In Chains/Godsmack tribute band that plays in Southern California regularly. In 2009, he wrote the book \"Starting Your Own Medical Marijuana Delivery Service--The Mobile Caregiver\'s Handbook\".
