Test and turn up SONET network rings, OC192 Fiber Optic DWDM system (Tellabs 7100 Fiber Optic Carrier System) which provides OC3-OC192 SONET signal rates
Performed fiber optic scoping, cleaning, testing and fiber cabling. Developed strong analytical skills for both root cause analysis and trouble isolation.
Operations Lead for test and turn-up of SONET (OC3-OC192), DS0-DS3/T1-T3 in Verizon, Verizon Wireless, AT&T Wireless, and T-Mobile central offices representing Tellabs, INC.
Operations Lead responsibilities included the installation, test and turn up of the 7100 OC192 Fiber Optical Transport System, in various Verizon central offices, which either met or exceeded ITU industry standards.
Collaborated with Verizons technicians to deliver the SONET signal rates they required for the FIOS project.
Coordinated with the customer to ensure that their specific time line has been met on all projects with cost effective goals in mind.
