Project Scope:

To deploy a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) application, SAP cProjects.
Collaboration Projects (cProjects) is a cross-industry tool used to plan
and monitor development and consultant projects. As part of the client's
functional requirements; Robbins Gioia implemented this EPMS toolset thus
enabling the client to: plan, track/control and report on project
schedules in a consistent and efficient manner, address Resource Capacity
Management, and provided a repository for project data for transparency to
the various levels of stakeholders.


The project management solution was used by project centric business
functions including; new product development, customization, and
consulting engagements.

Responsibilities:
As the Project Management Specialist for the InformaFusion SAP cProjects
responsibilities\deliverables included:


. Collection,validation and documentation of currently used Processes,
Tools and Methods based on the PMBOK knowledge areas.

. Developed the Project Plan, Schedule, Weekly Reports, High Level
Requirements and the Solutions Document for review and approval to
meet the immediate requirements and high level future needs of the
client.
. Developed the PM processes, tools, methods and best practices from

RCMP NATIONAL INTEGRATED INTERAGENCY INFORMATION SYSTEM (N-III PROJECT)

Project Scope:
The purpose of the National Integrated Interagency Information System (N-
III) Project is to provide a secure, interagency electronic communications
tool to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), its federal public safety
partners and its law enforcement partners. The N-III Project, when fully
implemented will enable law enforcement and public security personnel
across Canada to search across multiple databases simultaneously to
develop, locate and secure critical public safety information in a seamless
manner in a way that is not currently possible.


Responsibilities:

. Provided project planning and control services and deliverables
associated with the maintenance of a comprehensive integrated project
plan including milestones, activities, interdependencies, resources
and financial tracking.
. Completed the rollout and maintenance of the Integrated Project Plan
and the Master Schedule, reconciled to the detailed Work Breakdown
Structure.
. Maintained support plans including but not limited to resource
planning and control and functional area detailed schedules.
. Provided project management guidance to functional managers and team
leads with the development of detailed plans.
. Advised functional managers and team leads on schedule or resource

Project Scope:

The objective of the Police Reporting Occurrence System (PROS) Project was
to provide 14 RCMP divisions, 15,000 sworn officers, 2,000 civilian
members, and 3,500 public service employees in more than 750 locations with
a modern Occurrence Management System that permits both the collection of
and access to information wherever and whenever it is operationally most
desirable, including direct collection and access from RCMP vehicles.



Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project Management Support Manager, provided project
planning and control services and deliverables associated with:
. implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive integrated project
plan including milestones, activities, interdependencies, resources
and financial tracking and the maintenance of the Risk, Issue and
Change Management processes and procedures
. Completed the rollup and maintenance of the Integrated Project Plan
and the Master Schedule reconciled to the detailed Work Breakdown
Structure.
. Maintained secondary support plans, change control, resource planning,
and functional area detailed schedules.
. Ensured schedule reports were produced and issued when requested by
the project authority to meet specific requirements.

Integrated Business Systems Program for Human Resources (HR),
Transportation, Utilities and Public Works (TUPW) and Real Property and

Project Scope:
The objective of Stage 1 of the Integrated Business System Project was to
implement the vital business processes that represented the basic building
blocks for the new city processes. These were to form the foundation for
processing January 1, 2001. These included capturing a consolidated 2001
budget, consolidating financial transaction processing, consolidating basic
management reporting and supporting the consolidation of procurement
processing


Responsibilities:
. Collected,validated and documented currently used Processes, Tools and
Methods based on the PMBOK knowledge areas

. Facilitated and created an integrated project plan.
. Developed and set up the PM processes, tools, methods and best
practices from the PMBOK knowledge areas to be implemented.
. The tracking information required for distribution to the team leads
included output from the resource loaded schedule originally defined
to show full SAP system implementation with all activities defined by
resourced work assignments, predecessor successor relationships and
subsequent durations.
. All scheduled activities also coded for the responsible team managers
provided efficient publishing capability for baseline plan
distribution to those managers.
. Determined cost and schedule trends by comparison of timesheet records
and accomplished deliverables in a timely manner to produce a mid-
project rebaseline of schedule and budget to reflect favorable trends
as early as possible.
. Provided project status reports including project metrics for Earned
Value, Change Request status and major milestone completion.
. Performed what-if-scenario analysis and prepared contingency and

Project Scope and Responsibilities:
. Developed polices and procedures based on the PMI PMBOK methodology
for: scheduling ;progress tracking; implementing Change Management
process;, implementing reporting and analysis process; and
consolidating and standardizing all Atmospheric Environment Services
(AES) Government Wide Mission Critical Systems work plans as requested
(including identification of project inter-dependencies, resource over
allocation, improvement of the resource coding standards).
. Provision of project management capability and software tools services
to EDS Canada. EDS worked with AES to complete an enterprise
assessment and to provide support in the areas of Work Plan
Consolidation and Management for their Year 2000 program.
. Developed techniques and database to track the progress of work
accomplishment without the benefit of a "Time Sheet" system in order
to provide schedule risk analysis on forecasts to complete for AE
projects.
. Approximately 140 work plans were identified, refined, tracked and
integrated into one overall program plan. The approach was compatible
with the existing structure and mindful of the departmental standards
already in place for AES.
. Transferred to the EDS Y2K Project Office to provide project tracking
and reporting on EDS' complete Y2K Program. This included a cost
schedule integrated system based on a program wide WBS, OBS and time
control system with full formal Contact Change Management and project
documentation.
. Delivered bi-weekly project summary schedules and Earned Value for
each project and the program in total in both hard copy and electronic
form distributed to all Project Managers. For project documentation
and Contract Change management the data was presented for Project
Managers use in Excel electronic version with turnaround on requests
within a day for current status updates.
. Provided value-added support during the test phase of the projects as
a member of the Test Review Board by helping to establish valid test
cases and exit criteria.
