| |retail margarine products. Reduced line scrap by more |
| |than 10% on each production line. Was also actively |
| |involved in resolving production processing issues. |
| |Conducting plant trials to evaluate alternative, more |
| |cost effective ingredients. Replaced Soy lecithin with a |
| |more cost efficient soy lecithin alternative. |

| |Making Pass/Fail decisions on incoming ingredients & |
| |final packed products. |
| |Routinely training laboratory technicians to ensure |
| |analytical procedures were being followed correctly for |
| |accuracy and Employee Safety. |
| |Ensuring all ingredient & Product specs were updated & |
| |maintained. |
| |Ensuring all Analytical test procedures & QA assessment |
| |methodology were routinely updated. |
| |Ensuring the correct Sanitation procedures were being |
| |maintained by implementing stringent microbiological |

| |Improving the efficiency of the QA analytical laboratory |
| |by implementing a 5S program which saved over $70,000 in |
| |reduced asset inventory as well as improved efficiencies.|

| |Conducting Root Cause Analyses on any non-conforming |
| |product, both in the oil Refinery & in the margarine |
| |packing hall, e.g. a thorough investigation into retail |
| |margarine flavor complaints found that the third party |
| |warehouse provider was storing the product in an |
| |unauthorized location in violation of written standard |
| |procedures, which resulted in off flavor development. |
| |Monitoring & eliminating unnecessary overtime hours of |
| |the unionized lab techs, by more than 10% p.a. |
| |Conducting annual Mock Recalls & conducting follow ups on|
| |non-conformances. |
| |Routinely auditing the third party warehousing facility |
| |for correct product storage conditions & GMP as well as |
| |stock rotation. |
| |Routinely auditing the factory to ensure compliance with |
| |the product's Kosher requirements. |
| |Routinely auditing the Pest Control service provider to |
| |ensure accurate service & correct inspection records. |
| |As the leader of the Lab safety team, conducting monthly |
| |safety audits & monthly safety lectures which resulted in|
| |the 10 year, 100% LTA free record. |

| |Started out as an analytical lab technician for 5 years, |
| |analyzing margarines & soups, as well as Personal care |
| |products, soap, washing powders, detergents, hair |

| |occasions for highly accurate results, when compared with|
| |other labs in rotational testing. |
| |Became a QA Technologist in the margarine plant for 6 |
| |years. |
| |Became a Product Development (Foods) Technologist for 6 |
| |years. |
| |Job responsibilities included Managing the R & D, Pilot |
| |Plant & setting up a Non Dairy Cream concentrate line. |
| |The concentrate was later diluted with water, pasteurized|
| |& packed into a Tetra Pak & was sold as a fresh Dairy |
| |Cream Alternative. |
| |Promoted to Assistant Product & Packaging Development |
| |Manager for 6 years. Was instrumental in introducing |
| |recycled board into packed product shippers. This |
| |resulted in a saving of $150, 000 per annum. |
