Marketed and sold document management solutions to end-users and V.A.R.s. Mac O/S based with Oracle RDM based client server Architecture to address MS/Windows. The process involved monthly document management seminars. Sold D.T.P., Pre-Press solutions and Apple products.
Major achievement by having Developed and brought to reality a multi million dollar project with The Bay (HBC) saving them over $4.5 million in their first year. This enabled The Bay to apply this saving to their advertising budget to successfully fight off the impact of Wal-Marts entry into Canada. Hence sales at their Zellers division continued to grow. This project established strong alliance with the Bays printers; Transcontinental (Quebec) and MacLean Hunter (Ontario). Strategic ties were also formed with joint vendors; Unisource, Dupont, Kodak (KEPS) and Hewlett Packard among others. This provided new untapped sources of future business.

Marketed, sold and implemented turn key document imaging solutions (software & hardware) direct to Fortune 500 companies, government, aerospace, insurance, educational and health care institutions. including leading edge hardware such as high speed compression boards, scanners and storage on Optical Disk Jukeboxes as well as 19high-res monitors. Promoted our solutions through in-house seminars and those given at and with strategic partners, at A.R.M.A. conferences/events, computer trade shows, as well as through the Vitrine Technologique (Quebec government). Became an economic partner of the Government of Quebec. Built distribution networks through various V.A.R. (Value Added Resellers) channels. Trained and worked as a team with my VAR (S.T.I.) Service Techniques Informatiques who also sold FileNet solutions. Established strategic alliances with computer hardware manufacturers (Data General), consulting firms Caron, Belanger, Ernst & Young), and service bureaus (microfilm/digital conversion, high volume scanning etc.).
