Resume

Profile:

I have been coaching successfully for the past few years. Although
I specialise in self-esteem and confidence building this is not the
limit of my coaching skills.

Being an NLP Practitioner sits nicely with Coaching as it helps my
clients to focus on what they really want out of life and aids
visualisation of their future. This is not always necessary but can
be a valuable aid to the coaching process.

In addition I am a Thought Field Therapy Practitioner, a treatment
for the removal of anxiety associated with traumas, events and
phobias. This therapy can be very useful during a coaching session
to remove anxiety related to a client's fear of change etc., and
enhances the whole coaching experience.

I believe in the holistic approach to coaching and am willing to
introduce whatever it takes to bring out the best in my clients,
whether corporate or personal. It may be coaching on its own or
with an Indian Head Massage to encourage clarity of thinking, or
Thought Field Therapy to clear blocks caused by anxiety. My clients
always benefit positively.

I have appeared on television and on the radio discussing
confidence and self-esteem issues.

Achievements:

I have successfully coached many people back to confidence such
that they have literally changed their lives. One lady in
particular has completely changed her career direction following
attending my one-day workshop, whilst another has gone from being a
timid and frightened individual to a confident person standing as a
candidate for their local youth parliament following 6 hours of
coaching. I have successfully treated many people with anxiety.
Their anxieties, associated with such fears as flying, sex, eating,
spiders and public speaking, were permanently removed in just one
session.

I have conducted a number of one-day workshops over the past year
on confidence building with tremendous results. It is just
wonderful to watch people change in front of me.

One of my corporate clients went from running a home-based
business, just bringing in enough money to pay the bills, to a
highly successful business with premises and a good annual turnover
following just 4 coaching sessions.

I am driven by a passion for coaching people and I find my work
fascinating, rewarding and amazing and it is really wonderful to
see the changes in people. I love every aspect of coaching from
the individual sessions to the workshops and just love helping
other people to achieve their full potential and achieve the
careers that they want and the lives they want to live.

Coaching and mentoring two Young Enterprise business teams over the
past two years at the local High School (pro bono work) has been
really interesting and rewarding. My first team, who I took over
coaching at the very last minute, achieved Best Presentation at the
awards ceremony in 2007, and the MD of my second team, who was
coached from the beginning by me, received Achiever of the Year in
2008. A fabulous achievement by him.

Additional Information:

I have vast experience in working with people at all levels and
have been coaching individual and corporate clients for some years
as well as training people to practice as life coaches. My
training and background in this field have led me to believe that
effective coaching needs to take the holistic approach, the whole
person and their life in context, not just focus on isolated
behaviours. The way I see it, successful coaching means helping
people to understand themselves better, to discover what is
worrying them or holding them back, to identify ways forward with
clarity and confidence and to remove real (or perceived) barriers
to progress.

Interests:

I enjoy learning, self-development and reading books from a range of
authors covering self-help, fantasy, biographies and fiction. I also enjoy
walking, socialising, eating out and meeting new people.
