Completely revamped product packaging resulting in a gain of 30 gross margin points. Overhauled the sales force for the U.S. by replacing a master distributor with multiple manufacturers rep groups. Entered several new markets, increased sales by 28% the first year. Markets were consumer products, industrial, and the automotive aftermarket.
March 1982-February 1983: Proko Industries, Regional Sales Manager. Manufacturer of coatings and sealants for the construction trades. Increased sales by 17% the first year. Managed a 5 person sales force in the Southeastern region of the U.S. Markets were builder supply, manufactured housing, and the retail markets.
November 1975- January 1982: The Carborundum company, sales rep. Top 10% of the sales force every year, #2 in the U.S. the second year, Presidents Club 3 times in 6 years.
