Howard Rutstein is a teacher, salesperson, author, father, husband and an avid runner. As a teacher, (also a salesperson) he has educated middle, high school and adult English language learners. He has participated in many summer school enrichment programs, tutored middle and high school students under all types of circumstances whether they be physical, emotional or environmental and has contributed in the compilation of a summer program curriculum for the MCAS (Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System) for his school system. His interest then turned to writing about his father and the art of selling correctly, which in turn led to this treatise. As a salesperson he began his sales career in the early 1970\'s being taught by the \"Legendary Master Million Dollar Salesman\" himself Oscar \"Blackie\" Rutstein (1922 - 2002), his wonderful father. He then realized his own potential when joining a top company, the former Romie\'s Carpet, located north of Boston, Massachusetts, in the area\'s most competitive market. Howard soon became #1 and perceived that a salesperson is able to make unlimited amounts of money with the right products, management, service, dedication, and most importantly, mastering the art of selling. Howard was that #1 salesperson. His wise, wonderful mother Dorothy continues to give him guiding counsel to this day. He is the father of two tremendous children, Lauren and Lindsay and is married to his wonderful wife Mirian. At the time of this writing and approaching his 50th birthday Howard is an avid runner and has completed three marathons. He also actively supports these charitable organizations: St. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital, Special Olympics, The American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association, The American Cancer Society and The Breast Cancer Fund.
