2/08- 7/08

Housing Assistance Specialist 1 - I was responsible for verifying and
quality checking the paperwork that was submitted by my clients at
their Annual Recertification appointments. These are a few of the
more important requirements that I did at each and every appointment:
Updated all pertinent income data in order to adjust the Housing
Assistance Payments, Utility Assistance Payments and Tenant to Owner
payments respectively & Updated the number of family members in the
household in order to determine the correct Housing Choice Voucher
that the clients qualified for at that time. I processed their files
depending on whether or not they were staying in place or moving. I
processed Changes of Income and Changes of Family Composition whenever
they were submitted. I answered any and all phone calls from my
individual caseload as it related to the Section 8 program. I was an
integral part in facilitating and managing the Section 8 program for
clients in the San Antonio Area.

6/07- 1/08

Travel Counselor - I do travel arrangements for military and
government members. I book cars, hotels and flights. Whenever there
is an issue, problem, concern or change necessary for a reservation, I
handle all of the issues personally. I change outbound and return
flight times, dates and destinations. I make it a point to book
hotels that meet government per diem in order to save the military and
government travelers from coming out of pocket to pay their respective
travel expenses. I book all level of vehicles from compact cars to 12
passenger vans. I make a personal effort to make sure that everyone
of my travelers can say that I have met or exceeded their
expectations. It is not extra for me to find a room that includes a
Jacuzzi tub with jets and still makes the per diem. I do all of my
travel arrangements per inbound phone calls. I have learned how to
use the SABRE system to book travel arrangements. I have an
intermediate efficiency level on SABRE.


8/06- 4/07

Equipment Coordinator - I had a team of sales people who would bring
me deals from prospective customers. I would then prepare a file for
the deal that I had received. I would check our database to see if
the customer was an existing customer. If they were not, I would
create a record for the customer. I would then scan the deal back to
the parts people. Upon receiving serial numbers on the copier system
and all the accessories, I would then input information into OMD. OMD
is the software that was used to manage the information on all of the
customers and their respective copier systems & accessories. This
process produced a staging ticket that was used to deliver the copier
system and all accessories to various customers. This same staging
ticket was used to bill the customer because it had a spot for the
customer to sign which verified the receipt of the copier system and
all accessories. I had extensive contact with our satellite offices
specifically Harlingen; Sales Reps and the entire management staff.
This was necessary because San Antonio is the home office for Dahill
Industries. Also, I had some contact directly with customers.

Contractor - My last position was working in Military Affairs Support
Operations as an Administrative Assistant. My first position was in
Bank compliance. My duties were governed by the following acts: Fair
Housing Act of 1968, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act of 1975
(specifically per Regulation c, 12 CFR 203) & community Reinvestment
Act of 1977. I insured that all of the members' addresses were
correct as per the current Census / Postal information in order for
members to receive a proper Geo Code & show proof of fair lending. My
duties were to perform manual inputs of the correct information
because some parts of the member's addresses were incorrect.

of a military post office as follows: Accept domestic mail, accept
domestic mail requiring special services, accept international mail,
operate postage meter machine, prepare money order transactions,
maintain stamp stock, conduct audit of stamp stock, operate an
integrated retail terminal, maintain postal supplies, prepare claims
and inquiry forms, mail security, operate postal service center,
conduct postal directory functions, process registered mail, process
mail and prepare mail transportation documentation.

Handled the processing and accountability for incoming and outgoing
registered and certified mail.
Balanced the postal meter and managed the operations of the Rate Room used
for metering outgoing mail.
Assisted with loading and unloading trucks, prepared required reports and
related correspondence.
Conducted on-the-job-training to enhance the skills of entry-level

Supply Clerk - Assisted customers with the selection and ordering of
office furniture, office equipment, computers, printers, and office
supplies. Used a computerized catalog to identify items, prepare
orders, and charge customer accounts.

Formally recognized for superior performance as Manager of the
Nuclear/Biological/ Chemical (NBC) Room - awarded an Army Achievement
Successfully inventoried equipment, calibrated equipment, and ensured
currency of required tests.


I am pursuing a Bachelor in Business Administration or Health Care
Management with a concentration in Business. I have completed 45
semester hours of undergraduate courses through Palomar Community
College, San Marcos, California and 3 semester hours in the Army AUOA
program. I received the following certificates from various U. S. Air
Force & U. S. Army Technical Schools: MAC Affiliation Airlift
Planners Course; Financial Management Specialist; Postal Service
School & Administration Specialist.
