Assistant store Manager. Oxford Street London. Covered the district in Covent Garden as Branch Manager (December 2008-April 2009). Assigned to Westfields flagship store as Assistant store Manager and in store Visual Merchandiser. A headcount of 65 staff and a turnover of 5.1 million.
I worked along a 9 strong Management team, delivering excellent standards and striving to achieve challenging sales objectives daily using responsible business practices within a retail environment. Identifying training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with general manager, district managers and human resources.
Managing and developing the team using a coaching culture to deliver exceptional Guest service. Analyzing the store performance on daily and weekly basis, reviewing sales information and all relevant KPI's to maximize business opportunities this involved fiscal planning. It was my responsibility to ensure processes and systems in the store were implemented and regularly reviewed. Ensuring a flexible focus when liaising on an Ad Hoc basis with external and internal VIPs, providing them with key financial data and showcasing the Store at its best. I assisted with itineraries and trip planning for media interviews and Key events. I assisted with organization and logistics of VIP visitors and Celebrities.
I was responsible for store visual merchandising; planning store layouts and store activities. I would liaise with the Logistical team in managing stock quantities to tie in with Seasonal/Promotional activities. I achieved recognition for the "Retail training programme and Brand Ambassador programmes". I had the privilege to be involved in various new store launches and revamps.

Branch Manager. 11-15 staff and a turnover of 3million. Consistently achieved a increase on year on year sales by 122% - 157%. The product range includes kitchen, gadgets, clothing, travel and cook books, food and coffee. I was responsible for driving the store and team performance forward on a daily basis. I managed all pilot promotion activity for all store layouts and store launches across the city.
Visual merchandising including weekly theme changes on Non-food and Coffee Bar and window displays. Delivering stores KPI, in order to achieve this performance and relationship with concessions was crucial. Weekly reports sent to Head Office in Germany on business performance i.e. fast selling lines. I had a tough start and operated for almost 7 months without a Deputy Manager. I was responsible for recruitment, staff training and development.
Won several management Awards for "performance" and best attitude.

I walked the red carpet with Johnny Depp and Penelope cruise. I have achieved best ever days and hours in KPIs across the Disney stores UK. I have won awards for visual merchandising and store layouts.
I won the Mall awards for "best store product, display and service" during my time I was at Tchibo
I met Brian Adams and Bill Cosby as well as Jerry Hall during my time at Boca in Florida.
