• As part of the Sylvan to Mvest performance data conversion project, I assisted the project team with data mapping and data conversion.
• Mined financial performance data from host and SQL databases. Developed queries in MS SQL and MS Access. Developed Excel formulae for analysis and reporting.
• Assisted developer with a high profile system wide data mapping issue between external host data feed and internal distributed Sylvan performance system. Elicited data mapping requirements from PIC National line of business and documented technical requirements for our internal developer.
• Elicited, gathered, analyzed and authored business & functional requirements. Analysis included the identification of gaps between the “as is” and “to be” system states.
• Managed and chaired meetings as required for all project requirements and operational issues. This included maintaining a summary of outstanding issues which were reviewed and prioritized with stakeholders.
• Authored PMLC documents (i.e. business acceptance test plans, business requirements documents, project deployment plans, change control documentation and project estimates).
• Reviewed SOWs (Statement of Work), SRS (System Requirements Specifications) and/or SDS (System Design Specifications) from Wealth Management vendors as well as internal IT Service teams and reconciled them against TD Wealth Management BRDs.

• Developed, tested and implemented a data retention process which resulted in the purging of ~ 8,000 portfolios and freeing up of ~300 Gb of disk space. The data purge process helped improve system performance and reduce storage costs.
• Provided direction and support to QA and UAT test groups. This included assisting with the development of test cases, test scripts, test plans and test strategies as well as test execution using HP’s Quality Center (Formerly known as Mercury).
• Elicited, gathered and authored requirements for the Data Purge Project, Tier 2 Reporting Project and MVest Performance Reporting Work Package (Part of the Wealth Core Platform Project).
• Implemented infrastructure request to migrate PACER application users from a frame relay circuit to a VPN/IPSec circuit which resulted in TRM&IS compliance and a monthly savings of ~ $1,000 in access services to the historical PACER archive residing at the vendor’s data centre.
• As the Sylvan SME, I provided consultative services to other project teams.
• Utilized extensive technical expertise in many meetings with various IT groups to identify/question estimates, support issues, etc.
• Provided 3rd level support for Private Investment Council’s discretionary business performance reporting system (Sylvan) as the SME. The Sylvan application produced Total Level and Asset Level performance reports for Portfolio Managers managing discretionary accounts which catered to the ultra high net worth clients (liquid assets exceeding $500,000).

IBM CANADA – Global services Group, Markham ON 2003 – 2007

Technical Services Professional - Celestica Account 2006 – 2007
• Provided Intel server services to global electronics manufacturer (1,200 servers across the Americas, Europe and Asia) within strict contractual SLA times.
• Servers supported included a Citrix Metaframe server farm (36 servers), VMware/blade servers, Stand Alone servers (SQL, IIS, Active Directory Infrastructure, Antivirus, Remote File Servers).
• Maintained all security related updates and configuration settings on Windows servers as per contractual agreements.
• Provided technical services and support for all IMAC related server activities, including hardening and installation of standard IBM server support utilities (TSM, SCM or VSA, SAV and TEP).
• Developed and maintained process and procedure documentation for IBM’s VSA server support tool.
