Brief Description:
The Metro Suburban Area is in need of experts in various subspecialty areas to provide consultations. Consultants should be experienced, occasionally nationally known, experts in the specialized fields of psychology/psychiatry such as: forensics, child and adolescent; developmental disorders and autism; fire-setting; sexual predator evaluations; PTSD; geriatric psychiatry; neuropsychiatry, dual diagnosis, personality disorders, psychopharmacology, and community case management. The Area is seeking individuals who are highly specialized in direct client care, have license credentials, and can respond to a need by the Department of Mental Health to evaluate a client on an as needed, intermittent, emergency basis. Business specifications are such that services are to begin on July 1, 2002. However, the Area is issuing an rolling enrollment RFR by means of the Comm-Pass Internet page. (Please note: Rolling Enrollment indicates an RFR that remains open until the termination of the award period). Placement on the Master Service Agreement does not imply any level of business from DMH.

1) Calendar Rule Type: Submit a bid per the Solicitation requirements as long as the Close Date has not been exceeded.
 
2) Applicable Procurement Law: MGL c. 7, § 22; c. 30, § 51, § 52; 801 CMR 21.00 and 808 CMR 1.00Open and competitive procurement for Goods and Services, including Human and Social Services. Evaluated based on criteria designed to determine the best value to the Commonwealth.
