REQUEST FOR SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT

STRUCTURAL STEEL

Requirement:

For the supply and delivery of steel products for Department of
National Defence bases located in Alberta as required during the
period of the Supply Arrangement (SA) and in accordance with the
specifications detailed in the Request for Proposals issued
against the SA.

A Supply Arrangement is a non-binding arrangement between Canada
and a pre-qualified supplier that allows departments and
agencies to award contracts and solicit bids from a pool of
pre-qualified suppliers for specific requirements within the
scope of the SA. The intent of a SA is to establish a framework
to permit expeditious processing of individual bid
solicitations, which result in legally biding contracts for the
goods and services described in those bid solicitations.

The SA is not in itself a Contract, but rather a base document
that forms part of the future Request for Proposal (RFP) and
resulting contract. When issued a SA, the supplier accepts the
obligation to provide the specified goods in accordance with the
SA, under any resulting contract that may be awarded. Any
resulting contract will be established as a result of a RFP.
These RFPs will specify the specific requirements, and may
contain additional terms and conditions that the supplier must
meet.

SAs resulting from this RFSA are for the exclusive use of CFB
Suffield, CFB Edmonton, CFB Cold Lake and CFB Wainwright.

See bid solicitation for further details on this procurement
process.

Period of the Supply Arrangement:    From date of issue to 31
October 2013 inclusive.
Delivery Date: Above-mentioned

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
