The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME), with its Headquarters in Boston, and Regional Offices in Holyoke, Worcester and Sandwich has a need to rent or lease a refrigerated truck/trailer in the event of a mass fatality. The chosen vendor must be willing to also provide trucks/trailers to other Commonwealth agencies, such as the Department of Public Health (DPH) and the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). The trucks/trailers would be used to transport of decedents to and from the Offices of the Chief Medical Examiner and in other cases, used as a holding facility where transport of the decedent is not required.
