  4. Yes, networks can only be created or joined by Sales Spider members. Click here to sign up!

  5. Why would I want to create a Premium Network?

  6. You can make money from your Premium Network by sharing Google ad revenue! Premium Networks also support private networks which allow you to engage in discussions which you may not want to share with the general Sales Spider membership.

  7. Can my network be about any subject I choose?

  8. Yes, as long as the content is not explicit adult material or deemed hateful or harassing. Sales Spider reserves the right to remove any post or close any network we deem unacceptable.

  9. Can I ban someone from my network?

  10. Yes, your network control panel allows you to ban any users you do not wish to have in your network.

  11. How do I report a post which may be offensive or inappropriate?
  12. Click the "Report bad post" link in the top right corner of the post in question to report it to the moderator.

  13. What does that “Hot Network” icon mean?

  14. “Hot” networks get a lot of traffic and a lot of posts. It’s a much sought after designation because everyone wants to be where the action is!

  15. The moderator of a network has rejected my membership request. What now?

  16. The moderators control their networks. As long as they follow our rules we allow them to manage their networks. You might want to politely ask why you were rejected and request they re-evaluate your application.

  17. I just got banned from a network by a moderator. Can you get me back in?

  18. Moderators control their networks and from time to time they may feel they need to remove someone. It doesn’t necessarily mean you are a bad person and you shouldn’t take it personally. Try politely asking the moderator why this action was taken. Alternatively you can start your own network.

  19. What is a “flame” or “flame war”?

  20. “Flame” is slang for an insult or negative post which is directed at another member. A “flame war” can result from this kind of negative post and they can get out of control very quickly. An attentive moderator will deal with “flamers" very quickly, so consider carefully any post which might be deemed as too negative or insulting. Nothing good ever comes from a “flame” or “flame war” and it’s very easy to misread what someone might consider as a joke. When in doubt about the tone of a post, err on the side of caution and don’t post the comment.

  21. I just got called a Troll! What's that?

  22. “Troll” is a slang term for an Internet user who purposefully looks for confrontation with others by making deliberately argumentative posts in the hopes of disrupting a community. This term may at times be tossed around rather casually and may not apply to you in the strict sense of the definition.

  23. I can see the network posts, but I can’t reply to any of them. What’s wrong?

  24. If it's a Premium Private Network, you must be invited to be a member or your request to join must be approved by the moderator of the network. If the network is public the problem is likely that you are not yet a member of Sales Spider or have not completed the verification process by email.

  25. What is Google AdSense?

  26. Google AdSense is a fast and easy way for Sales Spider users to display relevant, unobtrusive Google ads on their network page, profile, messages, and classified ads to earn money. Because the ads are related to what your users are looking for, you'll finally have a way to both monetize and enhance your content. The program combines pay-per-click and pay-per-impression advertising - meaning you get paid for valid clicks as well as impressions on the ads on your network page, profile, messages, and classified ads.

  27. What do I need to setup Google AdSense on Sales Spider?

  28. In order to setup Google AdSense on Sales Spider you must first have a Premium Network or you can create a Network then upgrade it to Premium. Once you upgrade your Network to a "Premium Network" you will have the option to create or associate a Google AdSense account with Sales Spider in the Manage Google AdSense section in your network.

  29. Where does the banner(ad) appear?

  30. The Google AdSense Advertisement will be displayed on...
Network: The network's page right under your Network description and to the right of your Network logo if you uploaded an image.
Profile: In your profile towards the right side.
Messages: At the bottom of every message you send to other Sales Spider members.
Classifieds: When viewing the details of a classified ad you posted.

  31. How often is the revenue updated on the dashboard?

  32. The revenue is updated once a day in the early morning. It will reflect your total earnings to date.

  33. How much will I make with Sales Spider & Google AdSense?

  34. The amount of money you can make with Google AdSense is unlimited and dependent on the amount of visitors and clicks on your network, profile, messages, and classified ads. The more people visit, the more people click, the more money YOU make. Remember not to click on your own ads, this is prohibited by the AdSense Terms & Conditions and could result in your account being closed.
