I had an appointment and got the time mixed up, so I was a hour late. When I called to apologize and see what my options were I was told that I could be seen quickly since it was only an oil change even though they were "swamped."

When I got there, the man at the register finished eating his jelly donut as he took my information and checked me in. He said it would take about 45 minutes (fine).

I noticed that there were 2 customers waiting, 1 car being worked on, and about 4-5 technicians and 2 people at the register area.

I walked around the store for 30 minutes and sat in the waiting area, never seeing my car being worked on. After a total hour went by and I noticed other customers coming and going, I asked how long my car would be. The man looked in his drawer where my paperwork and key were waiting and said, "Looks like it's ready now." I don't know how long it had been sitting there...

A day later when I got in my car, I noticed the sticker they put in my car which should tell me what date/mileage I should bring my car back for an oil change actually included my current date/mileage.

While no one was rude, it seems that this location may lack some efficiency and customer service training.

Take caution from the other reviews! Avoid this auto center. They say the do all service but have reasons why they can't do most things, employees seem nice but are very passive aggressive.
I feel bad for them as they always seem understaffed and overworked. So it really seems to be an issue with the Sears corporation not individual employees.

Front office staff is very friendly and helpful. However, appointment times really don't mean much. It took 2 1/2 hours for them to do a brake inspection (decided that no brake work required) and a tire rotation. I should have been in and out in under an hour. Their pricing is alright, seems pretty fair to me. Just be prepared to wait much longer than you expect.

LONG GONE are the days of my parents who were devoted Sears customers and encouraged me to follow suit when I got my first car. That was MANY years ago and goodness, have the mighty fallen!

I hadn't stepped inside a Sears Auto Center in years but decided to have them replace my four tires before the winter storm. I purchased tires online from Tire Rack, had them shipped to my house. I called Sears to set-up an appointment  for installation and was told it should take around one hour. That's great, seemed reasonable.

I arrived early at the service desk and they were swamped. I was the 6th person in line with folks stacked up behind me while one, very overwhelmed technician worked the desk and answered phones. Needless to say, people were upset. I realized quickly that my appointment time meant nothing. And it didn't.

Long story short, a one hour appointment ended up being a 4 hour appointment. Glad I had a ride back home or I would have had to wait. That's unacceptable.

The only 'star" at Sears Auto Center was my service technician, Ahmad. He was very helpful, courteous and brought my car around when I checked out.

It was truly awful listening to angry customers who had been promised specific service times with no other alternative but to wait long hours for their vehicles to be finished.

Not a good way to spend your day stuck at the Auto Center. I hope they walked around Briarwood Mall!!

This place is just awful. Slowest service ever. Doesn't honor appointment times. Zero competence. Understaffed. You name it... No way an oil change should take 2.5 hours at 8am when they open and I am the second customer.... I don't know why I keep going back. This is the last time.
