While In High School At The Beddow School, Students Have The Opportunity To Participate In Numerous Extracurricular Activities And Class Trips Both Domestic And Abroad While Pursuing A Rigorous Academic Course Load.  Each Of The Beddow School’s Educators Possesses A College Degree And Training In The Montessori Philosophy. Early Education Language Programs Focus On Phonetics Studies, While Social Studies, Science, And Math Lessons Are Concrete In Nature. Students Are Expected To Spend A Considerable Amount Of Time Studying Independently, Especially While Attending The Beddow College Preparatory School.  Students Accepted For Admission To The Beddow School Must Meet A Variety Of Requirements. All Students Are Personally Interviewed, And Prospective College Preparatory School Students Must Submit A Completed Application Form, A Transcript, Teacher Recommendations, And A Portfolio Or Writing Sample.  In Addition To Its Accokeek Campus, The Beddow School Operates Locations In Fort Washington And Waldorf, Maryland.
